Glocca Morra B&B to Tountinna
Return Cycleway
Bike Ride Description:

Starting at Glocca Morra B&B, turn right out of the drive in the direction of Killaloe on the R463 to the bridge that links the twin towns of
Killaloe and Ballina,  Cross the bridge and at the mini-roundabout turn left. Continue on and at the first right (Ballina School) turn right.
Continue up Grange road for 1km and turn right at first form.  Hard climb commences for about 4 km.  After passing plenty of houses,
you then pass two woodland entrances on right but keep on main road.  Follow this road to the next right that takes you up towards the
radio masts on top of Tountinna. The first 500 meters are the hardest, but keep going, the climb gets easier and the views are well
worth it. Once you get to the radio masts, stop, enjoy the views of Lough Derg and 4 counties: Tipperary, Clare, Limerick to the south
and Galway to the north. Once well rested, descend with care and return to Ballina. Cross the bridge to Killaloe and turn right on the
R463 to Scarriff and follow this road back to Glocca Morra B&B.

Distance: 31km
